How I Pack Up Vinyl
Introduction
In this post, I tell you about how I pack vinyl. I give each step in the post and in the video. Feel free to check out the shop and search vinyl because I have a ton of records for sale. I even take requests.
How to pack?
1. Put record of vinyl artwork case.
2. Put it out of record sleeve out of jacket into a plain white or grey record sleeve jacket like I used. You can order these online or Ebay.
3. Then put both record artwork with record in sleeve into vinyl protector. Artwork case on bottom and record in white jacket sleeve at top like in video. You can order vinyl and record packaging protectors online or Ebay.
4. Then tape it down at top depending on what you have to keep the air out.
5. Put the vinyl protector with both in vinyl box.
6. Then, tape down both sides or one side to keep it down if you have cheap boxes like I do. Then tape the other side to keep it down. You can even tape down the sides.
7. Tape the label on the box.
8. Write vinyl and fragile.
9. Then take it to usps or whichever postal service you use. You also can request a pickup.
