My Thoughts On Philo

Philo is great to have!

My thoughts on Philo are it's a great service. I have had it for about 5 years. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low cost live tv streaming services. I have had Philo for about five years. I can say it’s a great service, at a great price. Other than a tiny bit, I have had little to no buffering over the last four years of having it. I like the channels it offers even though I wouldn’t mind seeing locals added. Unless you want to add the add Ons, the price is 20$ for old subscriptions and 25$ for new subscriptions as of 2023. Well, just went up to 28$ in 2024. You have a tax depending on your state. But that isn’t a bad price compared to what satellite costs. You can add your bank, and this might get by the tax like I do. The service has no sports and only a tiny bit of news like Chedder, which doesn’t bother me because I don’t watch many sports or news, and this is great for people who are the same. I do like the dvr Philo has because it’s unlimited. I have had no issues with it recording shows. It has improved to have a guide and even a clock in the guide. Which the clock helps at times. I can say I like it and enjoy the tv app. I have only two issues with Philo. That it doesn’t show what I’m fast forwarding on live tv when I get behind on a show. But it's fine after the show get recorded. The other is that some channels don’t let you fast forward live tv commercials if you get behind which I don’t care for and hope that get removed one day. But besides those issues I can say I like Philo tv service and will keep it. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to cut out satellite or pay less on streaming. It has a lot of great channels and stuff for a low price.

Why Did I Get Philo?

I got Philo in the summer of 2018, and have had it ever since. I am grandfathered in at 20$ a month. I don't the amc plus or 3$ movie add on. I would only watch Reelz, so I don't have it. I like Philo, and never have had any issues with it. I like the dvr, and the guide. It's easy to watch, and better than cable. But the reason I got Philo is because I wanted so cable but didn't want to pay for satellite. I had hulu live for a minute but didn't care for the buffering. I went to YouTube TV. This is before the 65$ price. YouTube which I got rid of in 2021, didn't have history channel or Viacom channels. I watch mostly those channels, so I got Philo in 2018 and have liked it ever since.

What Channels would I like to see added?

The channels I would like to see added, good question? I would like to see some local channels, and newsmax. But I don't watch sports other than wrestling, and some college football. I wouldn't mind USA network as an add on, or Turner channels as an add on. I might add those channels. But would rather see Philo stay at where it's at and at a low price.

How Do I watch this?

You can watch this by paying for the subscription on the website. Then adding the app to Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Etc. Check the website for what devices you can watch Philo on. I watch Philo using my Roku and love it. Definitely worth it for the money. So, if cable is too much and want to pay lower. Well, after reading this, I know you will say goodbye to Satellite, and hello to Philo.

Thoughts on Mercari Marketplace App - Pros and Cons

I tell all about my experiences with Mercari. I used Mercari between 2017 up until I booted off the site. I got booted off in 2021, November 2021. I don't recommend Mercari at all. It was definitely upsetting to deal with, but you read that I figured out what Mercari really is, greedy and selfish. My rules or the highway type of marketplace.
