The show opened with a new song by Megan Thee Stallion, and this song did not feel like it fit a show about wrestling. I didn't care for it. I think the best intro were either rise us or beautiful people. The show opened with Triple H coming out the iconic song, the game, by Motorhead. One of my favorite themes. Triple H asked the crowd if they were ready and came out to hype up the crowd. Then a video hyping up the match between Cody and Solo. Which helped because I have been off and on watching. The recaps are what makes WWE stand out over AEW. Also, great for the show to be first 30 minutes commercial free.

The first match was for the WWE title or Undisputed title in a steel cage between Cody Rhodes VS Solo Sikola. This was a hard hitting back and forth match. At times it looked like Solo could won. It was great to see blood in the match after early on when Cody starting bleeding. The moon Sault was kind of pointless, but it showed Cody was willing to risk it all. But in the end after coming out the cage into solo and hitting the crossroads, Cody got the win. The bloodline came out and started beating down Cody Rhodes. Then Roman came to make the save. We almost got Roman Vs Jacob in the fight but solo pulls him out. This shows how Cody and Roman may have to end up teaming which I don't know how Roman and Cody can work together. 

The stuff backstage showed that Nick Aldis is doing a good job, as Cathy Kelly interviewed him, and how he said that after what happened in the last match had led to Solo and Jacob Fatu wanting a match with Cody and Roman. 

Piper Niven with Chelsea Green and Mia Yim had a not so bad match little street fight for about five minutes. This made me happy because Michin is being used and looking strong. Michin basically overcame everything Piper threw at her with her body and splash on Mia throughout the match. Even Chelsea Green tried to get involved which Michin stopped her by grabbing the kendo stick and hitting Chelsea Green. Got back in the ring, and after overcoming everything Piper had, which piper did try to get some momentum and got close to almost beating Michin. In the end Michin went for the finisher of, a kick to the throat on Piper, and got the victory. Afterwards Chelsea attacked Michin and got a trash can. Then Chelsea hit the unprettier on Mia Yim. I'm guessing which from what I saw on talking smack this will lead to a trash like match or dumpster match on Smackdown next week with Chelsea Green VS Mia Yim, Michin. 

The next match was Randy Orton and Kevin Owens Vs Austin Theory and Greyson Waller. The match started with the partner for Kevin Owens is some guy named Ricky, because his actual partner wasn't able to show up. How they showed this was kind of funny. Great stuff and definitely go look this up. Then one of the people with headset and camera said that to Kevin Owens the person had arrived and turned out to be Randy Orton. The crowd popped and sang his song which is cool. The match was a good back and forth, with Theory and Waller using the double team to stop Kevin Owens to get the tag. Then getting out of the ring, he ran to the other side and got the tag. Smart if you ask me. Randy got the tag, the powerslam, and clotheslines to both Theory and Waller. Randy looked great after that tag. Then in the end Kevin Owens hit the stunner on Theory, and Randy hit the RKO on Waller to get the victory. A good match for it was. Also, like they both said, sorry Ricky. But if you get a chance look up the Ricky guy on Twitter/X.

The segment opened with Nia coming out and talking about how dominant she is. Also, how she is the queen on SmackDown. Then Bayley interrupted her and wanted a title rematch. That Nia wouldn't be the champ without help from Tiffany Stratton. Then Tiffany Stratton comes out, and how Nia knows better than to listen to Bayley and stuff. This led to Namoi coming out and saying how she hadn't been a women's champ for a while. This led to a match for next week SmackDown. The match will be Namoi and Bayley Vs Nia Jaks and Tiffany Stratton. As in a tag match of who pins Nia or Tiffany gets a title match at Bad Blood which I will cover. Also, that if either one loses the losers leaves smackdown. This led to Nia leaving and Tiffany to comes back in, to get kicked out by Naomi.

The LA Knight promo was the usual promo but works and was good. As in saying that it doesn't matter that Andrade is coming after him next week for the US Title because no one is taking the title off of LA Knight, yeah. That you know whose game it is. LA Knight, Yeah!

Biancia Belair and Jade Cargill are backstage with Cathy Kelly. The promo is the usual about defending the title, and no one will take the title. That whos wants a shot, come apply for these jobs. Then Nia interrupted and said how she beat both to become queen of the ring. That this is her show. You also saw Tiffany kind of be a little sarcastic to both. Then both Jade and Biancia looked like they both wanted to say the b word. But that was the end of that.

The segment started with Roman Reigns entrance with his new theme. It's not bad but I liked the other one better. But the audience was really behind Roman in his entrance. Roman got in the ring, Nick started talking about their past, Roman stopped him, Nick gave him the contract, then the microphone after Roman asked for that. Roman talked about like the old Roman, and this was a good promo. That this is my ring, and my show. That he is the tribal chief and went on for a few minutes. Then after that, Cody Rhodes, came out, and told Roman that at WrestleMania, Cody beat Roman. Which Roman looked not happy with that statement. Then this is now Cody ring and show. Then Solo and Jacob came out, and basically led to Tomi Tou and Lou, tried to attack Cody and Roman, but Cody and Roman overcame both guys with fighting back, in the end Cody hit a cutter, and Roman hit a move like the rock bottom called Uranage Then after leaving both laying, with both Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns signed the contract to show us that we will get the tag match at Bad Blood. I just wonder how this match will work out. Will Roman and Cody be able to work together. I guess we will see at Bad Blood the day before my birthday on October 5th.

The show wasn't bad as in alright overall, nothing too special or can't miss for a premiere. The best two matches were Kevin Owens and Randy Orton Vs Austin Theory and Greyson Waller, and the steel cage match as in Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikola. The build up to end of the show with Roman Reigns and what will happen with contract definitely kept me around. I wonder what will happen in that match on bad blood, and what will the upcoming weeks on Smackdown between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
