Top five favorite bands?

1. Black Label Society

Because I like Zakk's voice, guitar style, and love the doom meet metal style of the music. My favorite song is in this river. The reason I put them at number one is because Black Label Society to me doesn't have a bad song, and I never get tired of their music. I also am a huge fan of Zakk guitar playing. I have several CDs and listen to them a lot throughout the week. This band is one to check out and one I never get tired of as in their music. My favorite song is in this river.

2. Godsmack

Growing up this band and Disturbed, got me into modern rock. But the reason Godsmack is number two because I like sully voice, the aggression, and the sound have a heavy-metal therapy of release on anger. I got hooked because of voodoo and awake about 13 to 14 years ago, and still are two of my favorite songs by them. I got hooked by finding a cd with awake on it and someone gave me the awake album. I gave it a chance and the music blew my mind. I'm not big on the last two album but I still listen to Godsmack about once a week, and still love the stuff off awake and faceless. I even have all the CDs.

3. Hatebreed

This is a band I like for the heavy aggressive music that they make. I also like older slayer and old school hardcore punk, and this band offers a lot of that. I like the aggressive feel to the lyrics and music. I like the aggressive style to the band that makes you move or even mosh. This is a band that is underrated to me, and I don't get tired of listening to. This can definitely be a therapy session release of anger to listen to. My favorite song is as diehard as they come. I have several CDs, and really enjoy the music.

4. Crowbar

I like the doom like style in for the vocal and the band style of music. I like how they can be very aggressive for music, but like a lot of the older stuff be very emotional and tells a story as a song. A very underrated band that I never get tired of hearing. I have several CDs, and my favorite song is planets collide.

5. Lacuna Coil

I like the vocal style of Cristina, she definitely can sing very good, and the death metal like sound like the newer albums with Andrea's. I like the heavy aggressive sound. The band has a lot of great music and performs with a lot of talent. The band has been around for many years, but I feel like Lacuna Coil is very underrated, and more people should listen to them. This band has been around for 25 years and doesn't have a bad album. I still listen to them from time to time, and even when new music comes out. I found them about ten years ago by playing guitar hero. I liked the song, our truth, and then I looked them up and became a fan.

Blog on The First CD I Bought. What was That?

The first cd I bought was Disturbed, Indestructible. I bought it in like 2010. I got a ride to Walmart after making a little bit of money doing side jobs. This cd was bought at Walmart. I think I paid like 10$ or a little less. But it was brand new. I remember putting in my computer. The desktop was old, let it rip the cd. Then I started listening to the cd and helped me become a bigger fan of the band. I was amazed at the sound of the band.  The cd was a great listen to. I still like Disturbed till this day, but this cd and the sickness hooked me into liking Disturbed. The album is definitely a great listen to. The songs I like the most are the night, Perfect Insanity, and the title track, Indestructible. It has a great rocking feel and really great songs that are able to be listen to more than once. I would say this album is one of my favorites by Disturbed.
